The All Schools Triathlon Event aims to provide the opportunity for school students to participate in a safe and competitive Aquathlon or Triathlon.  It will also be the Northern Regional School Sport Selection Trials for the State Championships.  The event will award an Overall Champion School trophy and an Aggrevate Schools shield based on individual and team performances across the weekend.

When: The Event will be held on the Friday 14th September, 2012 Registration will be OPEN in April – so keep an eye out!
Where: Strand Park, The Strand – Townsville
Time: 7am-10am
What: The All Schools Triathlon Event is open to age 8-17 years to cater for the youth of the community. The distances and type of event will differ with every age group.Registration for the event will be held at Strand Park on Thursday 13 September – Details will be posted closer to the eventMinimum age for this event is 8 years (Aquathlon) and 13 years (Triathlon) – Parental Consent will be needed for those under 18 years.Entry Fee:
Individual: Triathlon $20
Individual: Aquathlon $10
Triathlon Schools Team Challenge: $30/team

The Race Format is as follows:


*Age determination date for the All Schools Triathlon is the 31st December 2011. Competitors must be currently enrolled as a student at a primary or secondary school or college.
*Race Distances are permissible distances for each age group according to Triathlon Australia Policy
