The festival will be over the weekend of 14th-16th September, 2011
Where will registration be?
We will make sure that the registration desk will be easy to find throughout the crowd of competitors.
If I am from out of town, when should I arrive in Townsville?
Registrations for the Sportsmed Sprint Distance Triathlon and the SportsMed Half-Sprint Enticer take place in Strand Park, The Strand – Townsville at approximately 5pm on Friday 14th September, 2011.
Registrations for the TP Human Capital Corporate Triathlon takes place in Strand Park, The Strand – Townsville at approximately 4pm on Saturday 15th September, 2011.
It is important to be at registrations at this time, so please make sure you are in Townsville in time for these.
Where can I stay if I am from out of town?
There are numerous places to stay in and around The Strand area. If you would like to view some options, please see the link below:
NOTE: Please note that if you wish to stay over at the Beautiful Magnetic Island that you check ferry times first to see if Sunferries has a ferry that will get you to the mainland in time for your race.
Is there any other information I should know?
Yes, there will be road closures in affect from 4am, therefore you must plan your parking before hand or make it possible to reach your car if you park in an area that will be roped off during the event incase you want to leave throughout the day.
Toilets and amenities will be available also.
Food and beverage will be available by on-location vendors Sumo Salad if you start to feel hungry or thirsty!
