Come and be a part of a Guinness World Record attempt at the Global Swimarathon. The event is being coordinated internationally through Rotary and organised locally by Townsville Daybreak Rotary Club. Proceeds of the night are going towards the program to ‘End Polio Now’.
People from all corners of the world will need to swim 100m (that’s all!) within the same hour, which in Australia, will be 10pm – 11pm on Saturday 25 February, 2012.
To add to the excitement of the night (and get you primed for the 10pm start) Sporting Advantage is running a Corporate Challenge in the pool. 16 teams of 10 will compete for glory in ‘Hit Tennis’, ‘Throw, Throw, Throw and Go’, ‘Rob the Floating Nest’ and an ‘All Team Wet Shirt Relay’.
