Held along the picturesque background of Townsville’s Strand, The Intersport Townsville Triathlon and Multisport Festival is one of Australia’s flattest, fastest and most memorable courses.

In 2021 the Intersport Townsville Triathlon and Multisport Festival has a proud history and reputation as North Queensland best and largest Triathlon Festival. This year the racing includes an opportunity for competitors to qualify for the Australian World Championship team in the disciplines of Aquathlon and Sprint Duathlon.

All events are held in Strand Park on the Townsville foreshore which is in close proximity to the Townsville CBD and offers stunning views of the Coral Sea and Magnetic Island.

Far from being limited to elite and national standard competitors, the Festival has on offer a range of events, distances and formats to suit all levels of abilities and interests.
