2024 Courses Overview

Flat and fast! That about sums up the on road courses of the Carmichael Ford Townsville Triathlon and Multisport Festival.

According to the TTMF President - There’s no wind and it never rains during August in Townsville!!

All the racing action starts and finishes in Strand Park which is also the location for Transition and the event hub. Each of the races follow a rectangular swim course (average water temperature 23C) a one or three lap bike course along The Strand, depending on the event, and a run course that takes in the foreshore and Jezzine Barracks, again depending on the race.

A typical August day has a maximum temperature of around 26C and humidity of 60% - 70%.
